People celebrate Holi with there family and friends by smearing different color known as “Gulal” on each other. People travel to their home town or their villages to celebrate Holi amongst there family. Holi is the celebration which gives the feeling of Love and togetherness. The Holi festival has been so famous that western countries have started adopting and celebrate the festival. Holi celebration is continuous for Two days. On the first day, Holika Dehan is done at night in which log of wood is light on fire to indicate the victory of good over evil. It is basically a bonfire celebration which is based on the story of Holika and Prahlad. People celebrate it by singing, Dancing and worshiping around the bonfire. On the next day which is the Second day, the main Holi is celebrated. People starting playing with there family and friends from the morning and put color on each other. Women celebrated Holi there my playfully chasing the men with Laths(sticks) and beat them with sticks. The men other hand come prepared with the protection and tries to protect themselves as much as they can. They also play Holi by putting color on each other and singing Traditional songs to make it more fun. This is the reason people visit to see the uniqueness of the Holi celebration there.

5. Phoolo Ki Holi:

Phoolo ki Holi is also celebrated Vrindavan at Banke Bihari temple. There Holi is not played with the conventional way by color power or by wet color but it is played by putting Flower petals, that is why the Phoolon wali (flower) Holi name come from. The Banke Bihari temple gate open at 4 pm and people starts entering the temple. A huge line of people is there to enter the temple. After entering the temple all the priest starts throwing tons of flower petals on the people which feels like the raining of flower and gives great happiness and joy. People also chant the name of God together. The Phoolo ki Holi is celebrated a day before Holi celebration.
